Research
I love UX research. The work combines my curiosity + passion to help others with my problem-solving abilities. I have experience in the following methodologies:

  • Discovery research (interviews + related methods) – extensive
  • Usability and prototype testing – extensive
  • UX/heuristic reviews and competitive analyses – extensive
  • Persona research development – moderate
  • Surveys – moderate
  • Eye tracking/heatmaps – some

My research deliverables set me apart; they’re in-depth yet easy to digest, tailored to the audience, visually engaging and always evolving. Recently I’ve been including more custom illustration work.

Design
My design skills compliment my research skills…and vice-versa. I started my UX career as a designer and still do some ideation, early design/redesign work including:

  • Information architecture (including flows, wireframes) – extensive
  • Sketching user journeys and concepts – extensive
  • Prototyping – moderate
  • Leading design workshops – moderate

I usually conduct research before designing anything. I can scale research to fit an agile timeline or other limitations. As I sketch and evolve the design concept, I actively collaborate with the team.
